Mini and Komi discuss!
MiniComi!
What is this new fabulous event??
*Fads*
Mini: Good night, everyone! Welcome to our first episode of Mini and Komi discuss! I'm Mini--
Komi: I'm Komi. And today's topic is--
Mini & Komi: MiniComi!
Mini:??!
Komi:??!!??
Mini & Komi: MiniComi!
Mini: >:D
Komi: :D
Mini & Komi: Mini-
???: OH STOP IT YOU TWO! It takes a lot of time to change the colors of the font you know!
-皿-#
Mini & Komi: Sorry~~~~~ ^^;;;
Komi: The rainbow effect was just so amusing for us...
Komi: So, what do you think about MiniComi, Mini?
Mini: It's mostly like Comiket right? Should be fun!
Komi: Well, not exactly. Comiket in Japan is more concentrated on the distribution of doujinshis (fan manga), right? Sadly, there are fewer doujin circles around Vancouver, so not all of the tables will have doujins.
Mini: That's okay! While we only have a couple of doujin circles, there are plenty of other artists too! Not to mention craftsmen as well! There's quite a few fan artists' prints that I'm looking forward to seeing, not to mention of the the original comic's publications! Komi, what are you looking forward to?
Komi: I really want to check out some of the craftsmen selling dessert or food related crafts. I want to put those up as decorations at my food stall! I've been lacking them as of late, and was wondering if I could put some up.
Mini: Aren't you afraid that some of your customer might take them? XD
Komi: Well, if they really like them, I don't mind really. But then I'll tell them to go and buy more at MiniComi and give one back to me. XD
Mini: Ahahahahaha! XD
Komi: Mini, I know you're definitely looking forward to the cosplay.
Mini: Of course I am! You have to come and take pictures for me!
Komi: Of course! XD
Mini: It's nice that they are keeping it open to cosplay despite it being public event. Hope everyone will be on their best behavior!
Komi: Will you be cosplay at the after market concert too?
Mini: Of course I will! It's also a free event too! Hope lot's of people will come!
Komi: I'm looking forward to Final aNix's performance! They're awesome!
Mini: Yep! Hope to see everyone at 7pm then! ^_^
Mini: Ah...but one of the planners was saying to me it's really hard to plan this event because so many things are free...(she was practically crying about it...poor her - -;;;).
Komi: I know...I remember doing a free food day at my stall... my heart bled a bit too...
Mini: Yeah...but she says she's hoping that lots of people will support them and buy the door prize tickets. All the proceeds there will go towards paying for this year's event! Any extra will be used for planning the next MiniComi.
Komi: What are the door prizes though?
Mini: Hm...let's see. For $2 a ticket, you get a chance each in two categories. One is the artist prizes, which consist of donated items from the artists participating from the event. These can be discount or gift cards for items at their stall, free items or on-site commissions.
Komi: Artists-san, thanks for all the donations! (We're still looking for more! Email minicomivancouver@gmail.com if you have yet to participate and wish to!)
Mini: The other one is the MiniComi prize, which has three prizes. These are prizes donated to us from the UBC Anime Club and the MiniComi planning team. Oh! and the prize draw times are divided into three different times. They are at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. This is so that people who come later during the event will also get a chance to the draw as well. There will be numerous artist prizes per draw time, and only one MiniComi prize each time.
Komi: Wow. I wonder what those MiniComi prizes will be...
Mini: I wonder too...I heard there's an a*transmission interrupted*, and then there's a pair of p*transmission interrupted*, and the last one is something like a set of V--*transmission interrupted*
Komi: Huh? Really?! 0A0 Those are really great prizes!
Mini:...I only heard them from Ninja-san though. Though normally his intel is pretty accurate...
Komi: Aaaaahhhh I really want the p*transmission interrupted*!
Mini: Ahahaha, why? XD
Komi: Because it's special! Someone actually went and *transmission interrupted*!
Mini: Put it up at your food stall! It'll be like an advertisement!
Komi: Ahahahahaha! The customers will probably asked where I got it, and where they can get the same service too. XD
Mini: So that's all about MiniComi today! We hope to see everyone there!
Komi: If any one has any questions about MiniComi, feel welcome to leave a comment below! We'll be glad to answer them!
